Me either but Charles McClellan the new SWAC Commissioner has made it a priority to re-court the Alabama schools. That's why you've seen the SWAC Basketball tournament back in Birmingham and you'll see the SWAC Championship game at Protective Life in Birmingham once it's built. McClellan has also been in touch with a few schools just as a insurance measure just in case State and A&M decide to bolt. One of the schools the he's reached out to was Tennessee State the other is a non-HBCU that's currently D2 that has ambitions on moving to the D1 level.

and who is that? Delta St., Miss Coll. are right in the middle but didn't think they wanted D-I. I don't think a public Texas school would go that route. They'd go WAC. There's a ton of D-II Ark schools, and a few Alabama schools.

That's a surprise. Delta State has only 13 sports (7m/6w) and hasn't added a new sport in over 20 years. They are the only school in the Gulf South who does not have women's volleyball.
