Recruiting wise, hitting up the large metros in the WAC is better than the BSC. Not sure how not having to play NMSU would resonate with recruits and seems pretty weak to me.

Large metros matter when you have the top school(s) in the metro. I’m sure the Seattle (large metro) recruits are happy playing in a 1k seat arena averaging 400 fans per game and Chicago’s 10 fans. MW is definitely a better conference than these 2. So if they choose to leave I think they’ll go to one where they’ll dominate. In these little conferences if you don’t win it all you just get lost in the mix. Heck I don’t even know who’s been taking second place in the regular season the past few years in the WAC.
