According to McCaw, they are also thinking of establishing a indoor softball field. As I mentioned before, it was just mentioned in an interview by McCaw. Dont take this as 100% accurate. All I know is that we must be thinking if going into a better conference because all these upgrades would be a waste(sort of). McCaw did mention doing a study of qualifications on the AAC as mentioned before. Are all these upgrades on facilities a coincidence?

P.S. We should be doing the same for academia. Just saying.

I am skeptical that we are doing this due to a conference making demands/suggestions to us for membership. It's possible we inquired to conferences and this was some feedback from them though I don't know why softball and tennis would be on the list. If I were the AAC, I'd need Liberty to improve football and basketball attendance and potentially get a higher number of viewers on broadcasts (though I don't know the numbers or how LU compares). If it is another conference, I imagine it is non-football and they care most about men's basketball so it still doesn't make sense. Maybe it's a northern conference and needs conference games during poor weather so we would reliably provide that with an indoor softball field.
