LSU 2019 offense would tear up any defense

I would love to see LSU '19 vs Miami '01.

Unbelievable Offense and good D vs. Unbelievable Defense and good O.

Everyone know's Ohio State would win the 2001 National Champ 1 out of 10 times, but that's why you play the game. Yes I am an Ohio State alum/fan.

Larry Coker was the coach for '01 Miami, and I think Randy Shannon was Def Coordinator. How would they adjust for this game? Would they try to blitz? Hopefully they would not stay in a 4-3 lol.

Clemson did a good job at confusing Burrow with their different looks, but Burrow still got his points.

Think on this...Ohio State won in '02 with Craig Krenzel at QB. The offense wasn't flashy, but got yards where they could, including QB sneaks. How does the better '01 defense, but still many of the same players, handle 5 wide and different formations from LSU. Ed Reed is a legend, but he can't cover two guys at once

How about the Burrow runs? The play of the game IMO was that QB draw there with about 30 seconds to go in 1st half.

It was on the same drive as the 3rd & 19 pass interference call (this was actually the THIRD 3rd-down conversion for LSU on that drive):

3rd & 10 at CLEM 35
(0:14 - 2nd) Joe Burrow run for 29 yds to the Clem 6 for a 1ST down

which lead to a touchdown.

That said, it was similar to the 67-yard TD run by Trevor Lawrence vs. Ohio State.

I posted an analysis of every LSU 3rd down vs. Clemson here:

Interesting analysis. I read through it all. Only nit would be you said the Clemson D overall did a "pretty good job". LSU gained 628 yards and had 29 first downs. I don't know how that is pretty good, especially if you are a #1 defense. The defense started very strong, basically stuffing LSU on their first 3 possessions, albeit with the help of LSU being back against the wall (Clemson's punter may have been their best player).

After the first quarter though the defense was trashed.
