I agree there is some blame to go around. The problem is Mick had 0 (zero) top 30 offenses in 13 years. He did not value putting the ball in the basket. It is showing with the players leftover. And Brannens style is not meshing. I do believe Brannen needs to do a better job of working with what he has.

Either way, Mick had 5 years to right the ship, I think Brannen deserves 2 or 3. Like I said with Fickell's first year, a new coach should get a year to figure some things out themselves. It is alot to expect them to have it all figured out immediately.

This, all of it. The old way didn't work. The new way might not, either, but it's interesting to watch the new approach. It's been one of the more eventful seasons of UC basketball in the past decade.
