The great thing about college coaches is that they get to pick who they want for their program. Brannen didn't even get a full recruiting season to pick who he wants. It's a style completely contradictory to what Mick did. You really think his style was going to complement the mess Mick left us?

No, not compliment it but sometimes coaches get too married to their "style" or "system". Make some adjustments for the personel you have, it doesn't have to be a 180. Either way, I'm not saying its easy, but he could still do a better job. Him being the new guy, probably gets a chance to work out his own kinks.
