The problem is he is a slow learner. It took him this long to figure out we needed to press.

Two things:

1. Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that our strength in conference play would be our defense and our weakness our offense?

2. It seems McGrath is willing to stick with the press... what was the driving force in him finally making the switch?

Although I love seeing the press, i'm not sold on the strength of our defense yet. The top offenses in the CAA in conference play are Hofstra, CofC, W&M, NU and Elon. We haven't played one of them yet.

Yes. Perhaps I miss worded that. Obviously we still struggle and have issues but it seems we’ve turned a corner on defense by finally using the press and our offense is pitiful. I bet if we go back and look at preseason hopes and comments that’s exactly opposite of where we thought we’d be.
