Never said Blizzard had bad teammates though. Far from it.

And Shaq isn't a great example, since he left school a year early. Blizzard had 4 different squads he played with and they all had tremendous success; it wasn't just his individual talent that carried the team. Craig Callahan was gifted. As were Tim Burnette, Ed Williams and Anthony Terrell.

Blizzard's squad also did what Keatts' unfortunately could not: Knock off a P5. And they did it on the biggest stage. I know that creeps into "most successful team" rather than "most talented", but I think it says something when you beat a supposedly superior team from a talent standpoint.

Not to downplay either. Those teams were built on defense, low scoring games, and a clutch scorer like Blizzard. Keatts teams were built on multiple scoring options, high scoring games and a press. I don't know that you could switch the players under the coaches and had similar results. The players fit the coaches and succeeded in their schemes.

It's fun to look at the two teams and compare since both were really good. And it would be fun to watch them play each other.

We haven't had success in the Big Dance, but we also haven't been blown out. Every game we've played has been tight.

The CAA was much much tougher back then. Every game was a dogfight.
