There are some must do's for this team to win.

1. We must press. Not the token run a few seconds press, but a legit, trapping full court press. You can see the guys get pumped when we do, and the disruption it causes creates missed shots and TO's. I've been saying this since McGrath got here, and it's more important this year since we simply cannot defend in half court. It will also give us energy right from tip off and hopefully stop the lethargic play we have been having in the first half of games. "Winning" the second half of games means nothing when you're down by 20+ in the 1st half

2. We are going to have to play zone. Linssen and Dodd cannot defend in the post against even a half way decent post player. We also cannot stop dribble penetration, and when they beat us off the dribble, we don't have any size to alter or block the shots of the driver and we can't rebound missed shots in the paint.

We have such huge deficiencies on this team that it's going to take an out of the box game plan to win or even be competitive. The two strategies above are the only solutions I can think of. Also, Gadsden is the only one who seems to play with passion and fight. I'm sick of this crap. That will be the last game I attend in the McGrath era unless I see a reason to return.
