For now all we have to go on is "coach speak". Beginning Wednesday we will get a gauge of how talented these young players are and if we have reason to feel optimistic about the future under this staff. The team is so young that I am going to try my best not to focus on wins and losses during this short six game season and more on their attitude, competitiveness and ability to show growth and improvement as the short season progresses. Hopefully the team can begin competing for MAC championships in the fall of 2021 and who knows perhaps we catch lightning in a bottle and get to Detroit this year.
