And the conference is making us remove the tarps. Yikes. That will be several thousand empty seats on TV

What's the reason for requireing the tarps be removed -- anyone know?
The only thing that make sense is that this is a championship game, not a Memphis Home game. I assume if we had a Bearcat tarp to put in the other endzone it might fly.

UCF had all of their signage, etc last year. It was a UCF home game because they earned the right to host it. We earned the right to host it this year, and it should be treated as a Memphis home game.
