If this were the case, yes, the game would be a complete sellout and people would be clamoring for tickets. I'm still amazed at how the city went out and spent major dollars to add 16,000 additional seats to the LB thinking that it would bring an NFL team to Memphis, when in reality it was an NFL pipe dream to begin with. Oh well, is what it is, and I think there'll still be a big crowd for the game come Saturday.

Never was gonna happen. NFL wanted new stadiums built to NFL standards. The pipe dream was, they thought by adding 16,000 additional seats (bad decision) the NFL was gonna offer a franchise here. Point being, either build a new stadium to NFL standards or leave the LB at 50k+ instead of wasting money on the 16k addition.
