There are hundreds of bills passed that aren't going anywhere because Mitch won't move on them. The dems in the house can't simply send laws and bills directly to the president.

And I didn't even watch as much as half of the impeachment inquiry hearings, but I did see them twice take breaks in the proceedings so that the members could go to the floor to cast votes.

Passing bills that both sides know have zero chance of passing in the Senate are a total waste of time, beyond appeasing the base.

Real legislation requires compromise. Neither side is willing to budge an inch.

Go tell Pelosi to pass the dang USMCA, at least. Fat chance, of course.
