Hmm... not according to sworn testimony... but maybe Pompeo, Mulvaney et al will come forward and testify under oath on the President’s behalf?

The problem with that sworn testimony is it's based almost entirely upon speculation and hearsay. In any trial with actual evidence rules that all goes out the window. Hearsay and speculation are what lay person might know as gossip. It's not reliable and not admissible evidence.

Its not gossip. The problem is those with 1st hand knowledge will not testify under oath on Trump’s behalf. Their testimony can clear the President.
