In terms of the brand name and the storied history of Pauley most of us Hofstra fans will say this is our biggest win...also the way we did it by 10 points on the road, playing with poise down the stretch was most impressive. Our PG, Desure Buie hit 13 free throws without a miss!!!!

Yep. And its always awesome to beat a team in a "buy game". Hofstra just got paid what, $30,000 by UCLA to beat them in their own house? More than that? That's VERY different than winning in a neutral court tournament, where teams many times are playing 2-3 games in as many days, or in a situation where you get a 2 or 4-game series with a team. You flew all the way out to the west coast and UCLA won't be providing a return game.

It doesn't matter how down UCLA is. They're still in a position to pay teams exorbitant fees to come to their house, with the expectation of a relatively "easy win". That's always an embarrassing moment for both the program AND their P5 conference. And Hofstra didn't just come back to win, but like you said, won by double digits.

Signature moment for the Pride program.

Exactly. You beat a brand name. And that alone is worth crowing about. But UCLA is no longer an elite program. I would still celebrate it as being a great win for your program and the CAA.
