What a blunder. If you're going to leak Stoops to your job, you sure better deliver on it. Now if he doesn't come, trying to sell boosters and fans on just about any other candidate is going to be an uphill battle. Fans are going to have the opinion of "why should I be excited about Mike Norvell - we wanted Bob Stoops?!?!"

Norvell would be a great get for FSU at this point.

I don't disagree, but if the fans have been promised a guy who's actually won a national championship, Mike Norvell's going to fall awfully short...
