Kentucky has only won 22.5 games per year (2019-2022), on average, and have only made it past the first round once.

Houston has won 29.0, and has made it to the Sweet 16 or better every year.

To me, Sampson vs. Calipari is somewhat similar to the tale of the Tortoise and the Hare. Building up a quality program gradually with team players may surpass quick builds with young one-and-done players over time.
