For those that don't, Bozello ranked the AAC recruiting job tiers as:

Tier 1
Memphis

Tier 2
Houston
Cincinnati

Tier 3
Wichita State
SMU
Temple

Tier 4
UCF
USF
Tulsa

Tier 5
ECU
Tulane

Source:
anonymous coaches from best 7 leagues and powerful programs outside the the top seven.

Memphis:
Generally named the best AAC program and best recruiting program due to Penny, FedEx Forum, basketball centric city, and deep local talent pool wishing to play for the hometown.

IMO, it is ridiculous to place WSU in the 3rd tier. The article acknowledges their dedicated fans (the best in the league, they say) and financial means, but dings the Shockers location.

I agree that Wichita State should be in Tier 2. Having an elite prep school, such as Sunrise Christian, is huge. Great fan base. Facilities are fantastic.

Really no reason for Memphis, Houston, Cincy, and WSU to not be Top 25 teams year in and year out.
agreed and football too... houston should be top 10 in golf also imo
