Mills took close to 48 percent of all his attempts (180) as 2-point jump shots, and shot them at 33 percent, as he made just 50 of them. Such excessive poor shooting on so many fga’s almost renders meaningless his fine shooting at the rim, and on three-point shots. His excessive poor shooting on two-point jumpers hardly warrants him being considered for AAC Player of the Year, and makes it questionable whether he should even be on any all-conference team.

And Pesik trying to make Mills lack of steals as no big deal by saying Sampson doesn’t like steals does not help Mills in the POY competition against players who do make steals at a good rate.

But Mills is not alone on the first team all/conference team in shooting 2-point jump shots poorly as Keith Williams shot them at 34 percent and Brandon Rachel shot 2-point jump shots at 33 percent. Williams is at least smart enough to take far less 2-point jumpers then other shots he shoots far better. Evidently, Mills nor Pesik get that concept.

all of that and mills was still one of 2 freshman in aac history to be given all conference..

Evidently you know more than every coach in the aac....voted a unanimous 1st team selection ... by EVERY SINGLE COACH

-mills is the consensus preseason player of the year by every media outlet...
-mills is the ONLY guard in the aac to make ANY ncaa preseason watchlist (They havent released the big list yet, so it could be for any aac player)
