How long have you guys been in that building? I noticed WSU being top 25 attendance way back in the early 80's. Y'all have a great fan base.

Built in the 50s. It's been remodeled a time or two obviously. It was Henry Levitt area for the first half of its existence. Became Koch arena in the early 2000s.

Historically we've had great attendance for decades. even during the 90s when we were god awful. Averaged 6-7k through most of that period that included multiple single digit win years. >10k average attendance since 2003.

People who would normally spend $ to see college football spend it to see college basketball because football (outside of select seasons) tends to blow in Kansas.

If that makes you feel better about your horrible basketball attendance.. good for you.
