we've discussed this before....no one in houston will EVER have high steal numbers under sampson, he discourages reaching..prevent ball penetration is the key (Staying in front)

but im not like ecu fans who pretend houston players dont have weaknesses, or manipulate numbers or deny truths
i dont get a comp with williams...id never deny williams is more athletic than grimes and that he is better on defense grimes... IMHO williams is the most athletic guard in the conference and best defensive guard
(dexter dennis is #2 in those categories)

but because you arent the "most athletic" doesnt mean you arent athletic...grimes athleticism > 90% of the guards in this conference

grimes is neither stiff or indecisive (a legitimate argument could be made for williams in both, who actually lacks agility)...if you want to talk actual grimes weakness outside of the injury it was confidence, or lack of killer instinct...if you look at his numbers he only had like 5 really bad games, around the start of the conference ..the rest of the 30 game he technically didnt have bad games..he was either unstoppable dominant..or completely quiet and not even attempting to score..the key next season is for him is to bring it every game next season
