also tulsa schedule is likely to be a joke (for a team projected to be decent) and looks like its done...Arkansas @home-only for sure good team (then maybe byu in a later round off a tourney)....then was bragging about Boston college (nuetral/157 net) and @colorado state, @boise as to why the non conference will be tough...zero for sure q1 games

I still think Shumate will do damage year one. I think he's the guy that will end up taking some people's minutes as the year goes on. Any time you're being compared to a current NBA player and the current best player on the team, you have something going for you. I think Haith wants him to put on some weight. He's only listed at 185-ish. Daquan Jeffries was roughly the same height, but he was at 210 during his first season at ORU. 235 by his senior season at Tulsa. Shumate is going to need to add some mass to bang. That should begin to improve with the weight room and nutrition regimen. He's got a frame that can support more weight. Right now he's about the size of DeJon Jarreau.

He was the only guy that Haith talked about being an NBA caliber player.

As for the schedule... I agree. It's doo-doo.
