All I'm saying is there are a limited number of mid to high level P5 teams looking for opponents to play in buy games each year. They shouldn't rule out scheduling teams like Oregon State when the mid to high level teams already have their schedules filled, or even as an extra game against P5 opponents when they have already gotten one or two that season. The more they play teams from these conferences, the more familiar they become to fans and members of said conferences. I think that will only make it easier to get those types of games in the future.

"there are a limited number of mid to high level P5 teams looking for opponents to play in buy games each year."

not the case, blue bloods do 7-ish each year

and ecu would trump almost all other options from playing in the aac. ecu from conference affiliation would be a prime buy game...ecu doesnt do buy games becuase no one at our level does buy games..ecu doing buy games would make them a prime target....they dont need oregon state

kentucky has released its schedule...ecu would trump clevelad state, hartford ad detroit mercy

You really need to learn how to read for context man. The bolded part is exactly what I'm talking about. They've already filled their schedule, they have other commitments. What happens when the mid-high level P5 teams have all filled out their schedules already? In those times, they should consider buy games at the Oregon States of the world.

You're arguing against a point I'm not making

ecu's schedule is also done and they have commitments, talking about future seasons, basketball schedules unlike football is made year by year.. according to d1 docket 3 of kentuckys buy games were signed last month ... nothing can be done for ecu next season
