I agree on the undisciplined and timeouts but what great players did we return this season? Sutton Smith and Josh Corcoran were destroying offenses and creating turnovers and opportunities for the rest of the defense. We had no offensive playmakers and our OL is subpar now.

I just think we are a little blinded by our fandom. Hammock has made some glaring mistakes as a first year head coach, but on paper, this is not a good football team either.

I beg to differ. It’s not a great football team. It’s a good one at best. We’ve seen how well they can play in spurts when there’s adequate play calling, limited penalties, and basic fundamentals. First half of Utah game is a great example. First half of today’s game was a great example. So how does a team that can play like that all of a sudden meltdown? It’s very very bizarre.

Theres not another Sutton Smith coming guys. To think "talent" is needing another Sutton is crazy. And Corcoran had career 6 sacks before last year when Sutton got all the attention and freed him up. He was good. But lets not act like he's a super star.

Wheres the talent? firstly AJD! Also: Hefflin, Mckie, Pugh, Crawford, Brinkman...Are you not watching the games? Where was that great talent on offense last year? Scharping. Thats it.

Most teams in the Mac have the same talent level. It's a couple of difference makers and coaching that makes them winners.
