The onlynother thing I would see would be wrap Shank pavillion further around. If a P5 ever came calling and we were competitive, I could see 50K crowds for big games. Im a longtime Bengal fan, but at some point apathy will fully set in and UC football could be a grest alternative.
You must be very patient and tolerant. The Bengals' apathy, and mine, began to flourish when Sam Wyche left. Then, following one coaching failure after another (Dave Shula, among other non-notables), Mike Brown pulled out all the stops and hired Marvin Lewis, who demonstrated his mediocrity year after painful year, seemingly forever. I keep hoping that Mike Brown will make some outrageous demands for stadium improvements or replacement and offer some more empty promises about team performance, and that the County will respond by telling him to pack peanut butter. Then, with luck, the hapless Bengals and their endemic apathy will slither away to some other town and the Bearcats will become the center of attention that they've earned and deserve. As long as the Browns retain ownership, the Bengals are toast.
Honestly the only reason I still have any good feelings for the Bengals is out of nostalgia, speding time with my Dad, Grandpa, and family watching games. That is pretty much it at this point. Mike Brown has screwed this franchise up royally, and sucks having him behind the helm.
