I don't think there's any way a UCF win over Stanford is going to count for much. UCF just isn't facing the high-quality P5 teams that other AAC teams are.

As we have seen in the past, UCF could run the table and not get to sniff the playoffs..........but it solidly puts them in the drivers seat for the Cotton Bowl. Unfortunately the black friday game is gonna kill their SOS, not that it really mattered anyway. At this point, it's all about building the resume and attracting the recruits to keep the train rolling to be the best possible candidate for a P5 conference if something happens this next decade.

I have to admit, the UCF strategy of playing soft P5 to facilitate winning 10+ games amd gain national attention has been working of late.

Please stop. Stanford soft A5 when the contract was made. A 1 on 1 I might add. Unless you are talking less home games for the 2 for 1's that USF has done. I am really starting to think you do not care for USF.
