Most of the players went back into the game. PT6 was interviewed after the game and said he is fine.

Correct and our local reporters won't tell because they are in his pocket. They are too worried about their friendship to do their job.

Nobody reported that Chris Claybrooks (who was supposed to start opposite of Carter at CB) had surgery last week.

They did report that two players were out.

Coach Norvell doesn't release the information. Reporters would be foolish to try and release information that they can't get verified. It's the way to burn bridges and make your sports department a joke. Has almost nothing to do with friendships and being in back pockets. That makes you look silly.

Plus, these are college students - not professionals. There should be some degree of confidentiality with releasing medicals on non-paid 18-22 year olds. We have no "right to know" every thing.

Journalists have eyeballs and they go to practice. It isn't difficult to see who isn't practicing. Injuries are news and should be reported.

Injuries should not be made public. It would give opposing coaches valuable information on how to prepare for a game to focus on any areas that our normal starters would not be playing at all or playing at less than 100% Why would we want to provide that type information to our opponents ?
