I think tanq has said something similar. It's amusing that these guys will then fervently deny being part of his base. Frequent amplifiers of misinformation (Seth Rich!, John Solomon, etc.), reliable defenders of Trump's racism, corruption, and ineptitude (B+!)-- but, oh, not part of Trump's base because they don't think the wall is a good idea. As if any of his supporters do, it's who the wall aims to punish and who the wall will piss off.

Do you comprehend that I do not support Trump in any way, shape, or form. But when the democrat alternative is a socialist/communist "progressive" agenda of gun controls, wealth taxes, single-payer health care, and late-term abortion on demand, I'm going to go somewhere else. And if Trump is the only alternative, then I hold my nose and vote Trump.

I'm not going to defend Trump. I actually have a lot of the same concerns that the democrats have--I think the wall is counterproductive, at least along the Rio Grande, and I don't agree with his tariffs, for a couple of policy examples, and I have a basic dislike of New York a-holes. But when the alternative to a populist loudmouth is a commie, I'll prefer the populist loudmouth and decry the fact that it has come to that. So I'm very much in the Libertarian if I can, Trump if I must mode for 2020.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Right now, I consider the democrats very much to be my enemy. That, by the way, includes you if you vote democrat. I just wish my enemy had different enemies.
