For my democrat friends, if these numbers hold and Biden and his VP (soon to be president IMO) win, all that I ask is that you please leave us a country that is sort of worth living in. That would be my absolute highest possible expectation from a democrat in the White House for the next 4 years.
Lol.
You had almost the exact same comment about Obama, and after 8 yrs we had made it through the recession and were basically on the right path.
Someone just pulled up an old thread and I went through some of the initial posts, which were hilariously apocalyptic.

As I've stated many times before, Obama was being portrayed as this great transformational leader who would radically transform the country. That possibility frankly scared the crap out of me, because I didn't want to go anywhere that he wanted to lead us. Instead he turned out to be a self-absorbed, arrogant, condescending, narcissistic a-hole who couldn't work with people so he got very little done. Peter Zeihan says he hated people. That seems entirely possible.

If Biden turns out to be as incompetent as Obama, we will be okay. But what scares me about Biden is that he would get 25th Amendmented about a year in, and then whoever is his VP takes over. And looking at the short list of his VP choices, they are all pretty much far to the left of where Obama governed. Not necessarily left of where Obama wanted to govern, he just couldn't get there. My bottom line: I have seen the democrat vision for America, and I want no part of it.

Anyway, you are right, Obama left us a country that was sorta worth living in. I am not sure we will be as lucky a second time.
