Actually when it was 'discovered' about 6 days prior to Pelosi deigning to bring back Congress to even vote, Pelosi noted that the 'pay em above the wage rate' was a non-starter --- she threatened to not even have a vote if that was subject to review by the Republican Senate.

'support average people in unprecedented time'..... funny, I thought the object was two-fold: a) save the business structure of the economy as it related to small business; b) get people back to work.

Please do tell how the extra 600 clams does *any* of the above? I would be very interested in those economics.
