When OO wrote it, like George I didn't for a minute think that he was using that word to describe women himself, especially in that he was using it to speak of someone he at least tacitly supports.... sort of like how your ex might refer to your new girlfriend as a bimbo without ever having met her, but your friends would not likely do so.

I think you (consciously or not) chose to presume that... and I think this is what happens a lot in political arguments... and is part of what some refer to as TDS. Because people disagree on policy or direction or 'what is important', it is easy to assume that you disagree on everything. See my conversation with Big. We really don't disagree that much at all... but it takes a lot of detail and nuance to recognize that.

I bring up TDS because much of what is attributed to that is comments taken out of context or given secondary or even tertiary definitions (or even making them up) while ignoring the primary definitions of words and assigning that intention because it fits the preconception better. In this case it wasn't a definition, but a 'why would he choose that word in that context'... and his rationale was the same as mine... he just didn't annotate it as much as I did.
