I hope Amash can build a real challenge for the Presidency around those in that last bolded portion, and among those who vote foremost against incompetence and corruption before considering which candidate more aligns with their issues.

I am clearly one of those in that last bolded portion, and at this point I plan to vote for him. So we appear to agree on something, for once.

I have decidedly mixed feelings about Trump. I don't agree with at least two his major positions--the wall and tariffs--and I don't approve of his boorish deportment. But overall he hasn't been bad.

My feelings toward Biden are not mixed. Like every other democrat, he has multiple issue positions that are absolute drop-dead show-stoppers for me, and other than perhaps Klobuchar or Tulsi, any running mate he chooses is going to make me even less favorably inclined.

I'm kind of indifferent toward Trump, strongly opposed to Biden, and frankly favorably inclined toward most issue positions that Amash has taken over his career. I would certainly take four more tears of Trump over anything I've seen from democrats. If polls show Trump a clear leader in Texas (as I expect they will) I plan to vote for Amash. If Texas looks close, then my dislike for Biden will overcome my indifference toward Trump, and I will vote Trump. Although if Texas is anywhere near close, the USA looks bad for Trump.
