I wasn't posting here during the Kavanaugh hearings. My problem is that they didn't allow enough witnesses to provide context and that I believe Kavanaugh clearly mislead and lied about his drinking in high school and college. I thought he was disqualifying on those bases more than the Blasey-Ford allegations. I found Blasey-Ford to be a compelling witness, but it certainly wasn't enough to prosecute and I don't think was enough to stop Kavanaugh's confirmation if Kavanaugh had handled himself differently when he was questioned about it.

I am fine with that as well. On a personal level, I'd basically rather have any Republican other than Trump and most of the democrats other than Biden, so the motivation for my tongue-in-cheek "suggestion" wasn't really motivated by the sexual assault allegations.
