If you can follow the extraordinarily clear timeline that I just posted, he didn't tell us that he had lived and worked in SF until a day after his initial post saying he knew people with info on the Harris/Brown relationship. So up until then, it would make sense that I (or anyone else) would be surprised at the connection.

I never once said I didn't believe him or questioned his veracity. I just found the connection to be unexpected.
