Funny, we seem to have a major Presidential candidate who has leaped lock, stock, and two smoking barrels in Alex Jones territory on this. I find it rather disturbing that such a candidate would explicitly leap into Alex Jones territory, and apparently there is little pushback to the saneness (actually lack thereof) of those comments. I think you totally misunderstand (or, more likely, misrepresent) Tanq's comment. Donald Trump is not the one who has leaped into Alex Jones territory on the issue of postponing the election.

And absolutely nobody is a "hopeless case" because he or she disagrees with you. That's exactly the kind of subtle ad hominem that escalates into the kind of stuff that Big was on here protesting earlier today.

Nobody is an idiot or crazy or stupid or hopeless because they disagree with you on an issue. They simply disagree with you on an issue, or in the case of Tanq or myself, virtually every issue. That doesn't make you an idiot or crazy or stupid or hopeless either.

Face it, most of us on here went to Rice, and UCLA is a pretty decent school too. That makes it very unlikely that any of us on here are idiots or crazy or stupid or hopeless. Why can't we carry on a conversation like smart people who disagree?
