I didn't say she was a great pick or anything else... at the time, I'd never heard of this person and wouldn't again for months... but for a week, she was 'oddly' a frequent topic of conversation... something that has NEVER happened in my many years on this earth and in many places. Most places I visit, the governor would never even come up in casual conversation. Whether any specific people thought she was qualified or not makes that no less notable.

I was just providing my own context for the Palin pick alongside what you provided. I'm sure some people in Alaska loved McCain's decision to choose her. But not everyone in Alaska thought she was a great pick.

Much like I would assume that not everyone in California thought that Reagan was a great pick. I dont think anyone would disagree with the level that you provide of 'everyone'. That is, anyone that has a sense of the extreme of the word 'everyone'.

But funny, at the same time you are the champion that 'everyone' on one side at a march and succeeding gathering in Virginia were 'bad people'.

Is that the same 'everyone' concept you speak of here?
