Are you saying lifelong politicians have little or no real world experience? Outside of Obama, I'm not really sure which Democratic presidential candidates are in that category in your opinion. And I believe Trump is really the only Republican candidate in my lifetime who wasn't pretty much a politician before running for President.

Biden, Hillary, Obama. Hillary had a smidgen, back when she was with the Rose law firm. I don't think any of the three ever had to meet a payroll.

Dems tend to like lifelong politicians.

Romney had real world experience in business, as did Bush 41 and 43 and of course, Trump.
