OMG, that paragraph destroys the credibility of anything else in the quoted article. Ford was not motivated by politics? Really? Ford was simply the most unbelievable witness I think I have ever heard.

She was a hell of a lot more believable than most personal injury plaintiffs I have deposed.

Pretty low bar. Could be WAAAY more credible than them and still not be credible.


If she was the witness on which everything depended, I as a jury member could not vote to convict. Way more than reasonable doubt there. Even if the person accused were a ultra liberal Democratic nominee for SCOTUS. I have had personal experience with somebody like her. Detailed here long ago. I think she had some mental problems.
