RE: 2020 Presidential Horse Race Thread
VP picks

"Biden has said he will pick a woman as his running mate."

That's why we call this the Identity Party.

" ...nine potential running mates they are considering, with the two top contenders for the nod being Sens. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Harris."

I thought Harris would be frontrunner for VP (black, female, exactly the qualities needed in a national leader and potential (likely?) President) until Klobuchar did her disappearing trick on Super Tuesday Eve, which makes me suspect a deal was struck.

"At the virtual fundraiser earlier in the day, Harris appeared on video from Washington, blasting President Trump as a “complete failure” [I guess she gives him an "F")and, in an effusive introduction, asserting that Biden would be the right president at a time when people “need to have hope ... need to have faith.” (Harris, just last year, publicly accused Biden at a presidential debate of supporting what she suggested were racist school bussing policies." (Politicians explain away this stuff all the time)
