If by "Never Sanders Democrats" you mean democrats that would vote for the Republican nominee instead of Sanders, then Trump is probably to blame for the lack of "Never Sanders Democrats". If Jeb Bush was President, you probably would see some "Never Sanders Democrats". But Trump has been so bad from the perspective of Democrats that instead you have "hold my nose and vote Sanders" Democrats.

But of course, you probably have a different opinion as to how odious Sanders is than the vast majority of Democrats.
