If MI & PA flip back to blue (as was clearly foreshadowed by the 2018 midterms) but WI stays red, Trump still wins the EC 270-268 . . . unless of course he were to lose any other state that he carried in 2016 (Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Arizona...). Also, if ME-2 were to flip back to blue -- and before Trump no Republican had won it since 1988 -- we would have a 269-269 tie and almost assuredly a Democratic House to break the tie.

Except the house vote to break the tie is one vote per state, and republicans still probably control more states. And in case of a tie, the VP goes to the senate, which could be either R or D in that case. So you could have a president from one party and a VP from the other. If it ends up Trump and Stacey the Hutt, I will pray for Trump's health.

Who in the heck is Stacey the Hutt?
