Hunter taking the position was unethical, for sure.

As a very astute left-winger on this site once told me, we won't know for sure if anything wrong was done unless we investigate.

The same person told me that if nothing wrong was done, nobody has anything to fear from an investigation.

So the shoe is on the other foot now.

So, at least to OO, nothing blatantly illegal. But enough suspicion to investigate.

Bingo. As the same astute left-winger more than once said, there is enough smoke here to warrant an investigation. If they did nothing wrong, nothing to worry about, and it would have the benefit of clearing their name. I cannot see why either Biden would not welcome an investigation.

As for "blatant", I presume that would mean something like a public exchange of suitcases of cash? Right, I know of nothing blatant.
