To be clear, those are not my exclusive choices. I still listen to or watch Fox and CNN (primarily listen) because both, plus BBC World Service, are available and close together on my XM. It's just that I can't stand too much of the constant pro-Trump or Trump-bashing on the other two, so BBC is kind of my refuge when I get tired of the others. They also bash Trump, but not incessantly like CNN.

My GF likes to sleep with the TV on (I don't, and I also like it about 10 degrees warmer to sleep than she does, but you put up with those things), and during a recent trip to Japan to visit my son, CNN was about the only English-language available on the hotel room TV. She finally got up and turned it off because she could not handle the incessant Trump bashing. And she is no fan of the Donald.

Interesting parallels between out situations. My long time GF is a very antiTrump person, and she watches CNN all day long. Hard to tell if her CNN watching is the cause or an effect of her Trump hate. Her constant refrain is that Trump is anasshole. But just this morning she declared that the only reason Trump did the drone attack was to distract from the impeachment. Now I wonder who put that idea in her head? Not me. Trump wants a quick trial, the Dems are dragging their feet.

She also likes to go to sleep with tThe TV on (I prevail there, usually) but we are in agreement on the thermostat.

I want this relationship to be the last one of my life, so I usually just let her rattle.on. It will be difficult to listen to the regurgitated CNN stuff the next five years, but it will be worth it.
