RE: 2020 Presidential Horse Race Thread
I don’t know a single person who was unable to keep all their normal doctors post-ACA. Granted it isn’t necessarily the kind of thing people discuss all the time (health care can be a private thing). But it isn’t nothing. And I don’t remember my doctor wife complaining about losing patients during that time either.

I have many Republican/Conservative family members. While some of them certainly prefer Fox News to anything else, less than 5% of them have ever even suggested they think the mainstream media is biased in any real way. They are largely intelligent and well informed. Honestly, the only 2 conservative family members I can think of who rails against the liberal bias of the media are uneducated idiots. And I say that somewhat endearingly, both certainly have IQs in the 90’s, they just are not bright. Of course I realize this is just a small sample size and not necessarily representative of all conservatives. But it does give me faith in humanity.

My mother-in-law has slowly switched from primarily Fox News to primarily CNN over the years. She is definitely right-of-center ideologically but hates Trump. She seems ok with the switch, even though she isn’t fully trusting of any media outlets.
