RE: 2020 Presidential Horse Race Thread
If I were CEO of a multi-national, I would have my staff putting together the best and most tax-efficient plan possible to get out of the USA in case Warren (or Bernie) were elected president. The goal would be to have a plan that could be executed between Election Day and Inauguration Day, with minimum cost and tax consequences. The best way is probably an inversion transaction with a foreign company. A straight move out would require a one-time penalty payment, but given the economics of Warren's and Bernie's proposals, that could be a cheap price to pay.

In any event, I would know the pros and cons of every approach, and we would have one teed up and ready to kick off on the day after Election Day if it's either Warren or Bernie.
