As the Slate article says, a Warren nomination would increase the odds of Trump winning. It seems to me to be a double or nothing choice - more likely a Trump second term, but a worse alternative.

Or maybe it is more like Russian (pun intended) Roulette. For the committed Democrats here, it might be like Russian Roulette with a bullet in every chamber.

I had read some items elsewhere that indicated if Warren is nominated, the Democrats can kiss a huge amount of the advantage in big money finance donations they enjoy goodbye.

Considering Warren's comments not just on taxation policy, but on her apparent zealousness for punitive actions against those monied interests, I can understand that.
