I get it as we all are. I will say this about Bowers. I was not disappointed. There have been other QBs who turned out not to be as good as advertised.
He has the arm strength as good as if not better than Childers.

One note from practice is that by passing in the middle of the field, which NIU almost refused to do these past couple of years, comes with risk. In practice one pass was deflected off a receivers hands and caught by the D. Mistakes happen but that was part of NIUs make-up. Reduce risk and play it safe. Frustrated so many fans but it won games and the MACC.

Now I expect this offense to be improved but at what risk. TBD.
