WKU is definitely my darkhorse team in the East this season and I think they will be the most improved team in CUSA.

Southern Miss fans are excited based on returning production along with the expectant upgrades at offensive coordinator and offensive lines and with the definite upgrade in strength and conditioning coach.

Our team also lost its top 2 QBs after Spring practice last season, which helped lead to a slow start offensively and then lost Abraham for a little while late in the season. Then again, as bad as the OL was, it may not have mattered.

Hopson will have the most talent, experience, and depth that he has had in his tenure at Southern Miss. We will see what he can do with it. So far, his teams have been good for at least 2 head scratching losses (see ULM and Charlotte last year) each season.
