There are times when i spent as little as 15~20 mins to get to downtown from perimeter north and there are times it took me a horrible 2~3 hours with averages somewhere in the 45 ~ 60 mins range. Doesn't matter if its downtown or not, you can still get sucked into a traffic jam sinkhole where ever you are in Atlanta.

I'd rather a traffic jamp than the demolition derby that I-85 through downtown normally is.
