Exactly those are the points you’re missing. There’s a binding agreement, so things like that cant be done . If I don’t make payments on my house it forecloses. Then the bank can take your offer

If they foreclose on your house then you would no longer own it. Currently, the value of your house is being used as collateral on the loan. The bank has rights to recoup the money they loaned. But.....but you still own your home. You can paint it, add an addition and accept offers to sell it without the banks permission so long as they get paid at closing.

There are many different laws, & contracts in different states.

Wow. Thats some monumental information for this entire board. Thank you! Have to be the brother of a contract attorney or rent an $800k house to get that kind of scoop? Guess you could just show the right person a copy of your MBA or Mortgage agreement while you're flying in a plane and they would be happy to whisper that golden info to you.
